Why did you build the AI as staff instead of a chatbot?
Because the useful work changes records rather than reading them. An agent can only fill a shift if it can see the roster, contact the caregiver and write the assignment. Running on the same engine as your office is what makes that possible, and what keeps it in one audit log.
