We burned two of our pitch minutes just explaining what home health care even is.

Still walked off with 3rd place and $5,000. First pitch of my life.

Nestaid placed at Epipelagic Ventures Pitch Day in Kendall Square on July 16.

Pitching home care to a tech room

Here's the thing about pitching home care to a tech room: nobody's thought about the 6am call-out. A caregiver cancels, a client is waiting, and someone's grandmother might spend the morning alone.

I had to build that world before I could pitch in it.

We showed one workflow

The one that wrecks an agency owner's week, every week: the caregiver call-out. A shift opens, the phones come out, and a coordinator's morning disappears.

We showed how Nestaid's AI agents run that entire playbook — spot the gap, call qualified caregivers in parallel, fill the shift, update the schedule. One workflow, start to finish. The room got it.

The best part wasn't the check

It was the room — founders, sharp judges, people staying late just to talk. I learned more in one evening than in weeks of prep.

Congrats to AttorneyAlert (grand prize) and Lending Automator (2nd place). And thank you to Epipelagic Ventures for the stage.

Where the $5K goes

Straight into token maxing. Nestaid's agents have expensive taste. 🤖

First pitch done. More to come.
